Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with company policies
- Maintain compliance with all D.O.T. and other shipping regulations
- Ensure the accuracy of all inbound inventory and receiving purposes
- Ensure accuracy of all outbound shipments, both product and supporting documentation
- Coordinate movement of materials within the warehouse
- Maintain warehouse organization
- Able to identify areas of improvement
- Coordinate materials needed for manufacturing
- Manage the movement of trailers to docs or different yard locations with yard truck as needed
- Process all shipping documentation for drivers. File and verify the accuracy of documents.
- Coordinate communication of pertinent information between shipping and all internal departments of the company
- Always ensure the maximum quantity of products is loaded onto the truck without damaging the product
- Make improvement suggestions to improve cost, safety, or customer satisfaction
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management
- Schedule inbound and outbound trucks and coordinate Client to match
- Manage shipping and warehouse personnel to maximize efficiency
- Responsible for managing vendor relationships and obtaining freight quotes
- Reviews and analyzes transportation costs, delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Maximum 5 Years experience in Warehouse Management or closely related field
- Key Accountabilities include: Accuracy and efficiency of work as well as providing excellence in servicing the customer
- Licensed forklift driver
- Must be able to use ERP software
- Strong organization skills
- Flexibility in working different hours is required
