Shift: 3rd shift (Sunday start up)
Salary: $30 - $34 based on experience
Job duties:
- Overall supervision of shift and related functions.
- 3 rd shift Supervisors are responsible for facility opening and start-up on Sunday night.
- Develops others through training, setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance.
- Establish and maintain consistent operating procedures.
- Upgrade and maintain work instructions and visual aid boards.
- Leads employees to achieve safety, utilization and quality standards.
- Consistently implement and enforce Company policies and procedures.
- Establish and implement scrap reduction procedures.
- Ensure all safety related programs are followed properly. (i.e. Drug Free Workplace, Transitional Work Program etc.)
- Efficiently use labor and machinery to maximize schedule attainment while minimizing scrap.
- Complete assigned paperwork as appropriate.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned or required.
Requirements
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience in an injection molding environment preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to deliver, meet deadlines, and have results orientation.
- Continuous visual sensory demands: near acuity, color vision, and depth perception.
- Frequent lifting and/or carrying a maximum of up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background
