Position: Electromechanical Technician III
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 1 PM–9:30 PM
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on automation equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
Essential Duties:
- Repair and maintain various equipment and perform preventative maintenance in distribution or manufacturing settings.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, analyze, and predict equipment failures.
- Dismantle machines and equipment to access and resolve issues.
- Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, and punch presses to fabricate parts and tools.
- Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
- Replace worn or defective components as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3 years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience or a related field.
- Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems.
- Understanding of frequency drives, servos, electrical systems, and PLCs.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs, I/O, and VFDs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to reach heights of 31-77 inches.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs; frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs.
- Regularly stand, walk, handle objects/tools, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
