Day Shift Maintenance Technician
NESCO Resource is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician on behalf of our manufacturing client in Owasso, OK. This day-shift position is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in industrial maintenance, particularly with electrical systems and three-phase motors.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will help maintain and improve production equipment and facilities. You’ll work under the Maintenance Manager’s guidance, handling planned maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting equipment installations.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance on production and facilities equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including three-phase motors.
- Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and maintain equipment and components.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and decontamination processes.
- Support manufacturing teams by cleaning equipment and performing fabrication tasks.
- Execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Build, modify, and maintain jigs and manufacturing-related fixtures.
- Provide technical support in welding, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Mentor and train team members by sharing hands-on knowledge and expertise.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, including three-phase motors.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and tools.
- Basic skills in welding, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- A focus on safety and effective collaboration in a manufacturing environment.
