About the Opportunity
Client is seeking a Resource Deployment Manager who will be responsible for working collaboratively to facilitate efficient and effective scheduling of Professional Services' resources into our customer base. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple resourcing demands from a variety of consulting practices, including strategic, functional, and technical resources. Successful candidates must be able to multi-task and have the ability and energy required to field multiple demands within a dynamic Professional Services team.
Where you will make an impact
  • Serve as an expert working with Professional Services resourcing system (Certinia)
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and peers
  • Work collaboratively with assigned Practices to support effective and timely scheduling of consulting resources and scheduling of complex projects
  • Identify, document, and recommend process improvements for any identified gaps in corporate resourcing process or system functionality
  • Manage the detailed tracking of resource requests and accurate updating throughout the staffing process
  • Mitigate escalations and ensure consultants' utilization is balanced across the assigned Practice
  • Make effective use of technology where appropriate for communication, monitoring trends in resource use, and documentation
  • Work with practice and project leadership for Ellucian, identify resource needs and assign appropriate support in a timely manner
  • Manage schedule conflicts and work towards amicable solutions
  • Ensure various operational elements that affect financial and resource forecasts are on track; including but not limited to:
    • timely attention to staffing requests
    • updates to staffing progress and mitigation strategies

  • Experience and high proficiency in using Certinia PSA, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must have the flexibility to work a regular schedule with occasional evening and early morning hours required
