Civil Engineer PE

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Professional to join our team in Oklahoma City OR Tulsa. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to state and municipal transportation projects, including roadway and bridge design. Some work-from-home flexibility is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, and storm sewer systems.
  • Manage all aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project goals and expectations are aligned and delivered effectively.
  • Oversee and assign work to Junior Engineers, CAD Technicians, and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency and quality.
  • Apply expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant software to produce detailed and accurate engineering plans.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and guidelines, such as AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, Highway Capacity Manual, ODOT design standards, Brown Book, and MUTCD.
  • Conduct field reconnaissance and inspections as necessary to support design and project development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering design, including roadway and bridge projects.
  • Strong civil engineering design skills and a working knowledge of storm sewer systems.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with state and municipal transportation standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
