Job Description: Performs waste handling duties, moving and handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste drums, totes, bins and other waste materials including hazardous chemicals requiring the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other handling devices to manage waste program. Responsibilities will include managing waste drums and bins in assigned locations/areas to ensure all waste materials are properly segregated, sorted and handled for in preparation for disposal. Will be required to inventory and check waste containers during normal work schedule to ensure containers are properly maintained and emptied when needed. Will assist the other Waste handler(s) and Waste Water treatment Lead with other housekeeping/cleaning duties as directed to maintain a ordering work environment. Will assist Lead as directed during waste shipping process and waste disposal. Will help prepare, label and distribute shipping crates, boxes, drums, other waste containers for onsite use. Uses computers to maintain data and training
