Description: Assemble cables for electronic equipment
Duties:
- Repairing and replacing components, circuits, and electronic devices.
- Documents actions by completing logs and records.
- Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Must have knowledge of computers and ability to navigate using Windows OS
- Willing to work in a flexible environment , may be asked to stop one action to start another if needed. (example: Could be in the middle of working on a cable production order and could be asked to stop current production order and set aside in order to start a new cable production order that is hot and takes priority, or could be in the middle of working on a cable production order and asked to stop and support assembly by applying Serial Number decals to units, etc.)
Skills/Qualifications:
- IPC Certification in Soldering (Required)
- WHMA 620 preferred
- Electronics Assembly
- Basic Computer Skills
- Technical Understanding
