We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team and assist with color matching activities. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for accurately matching colors for various products and ensuring consistency in color quality. Your primary duties will include preparing color samples, conducting color tests, and adjusting formulas to achieve desired color specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, troubleshooting color-related issues, and collaborating with other team members to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
Color matching in tint base formulas and scratch batch formulas.
Set up, adjusts, calibrates, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such mixers, automatic tint dispensers, viscometers, spectrophotometer, and other equipment.
Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications.
Record test results in our computer operating system.
Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
Conduct in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.
Perform quality audits of laboratory instructions to ensure compliance to our Quality Policy.
Qualifications:
1 years of experience
Associate's degree or higher from a Two (2) year accredited college or technical school; or two (2) years related training.
Possess ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
