JOB SUMMARY:
Respond to customer telephone or written inquiries regarding status of orders, product selection, placement of orders for standard products / services, complaints including returns, shortages and adjustments, and request for literature. Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate action to ensure that customer needs are met.
The Inside Sales Representative is an exempt salaried position and reports to the Inside Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follow all departmental procedures and procedures
- Provide professional, courteous responses to all customers
- Processes orders / quotes / other request through phone, email, or fax
- Provides technical support to customers
- Research and resolve customer inquiries
- Work with other departments to expedite customer inquiries concerning delivery time, product quality, etc.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to provide excellent customer support
- Provide corrective action for customer complaints
- Authorize change notices relating to quantity, description, pricing, etc. on pending orders
- Notify all departments of changes
- Issues returned goods authorization (RGAs)
- Expedites new or pending orders per the request of Regional Sales Managers or customer
- Prepares quotations for potential orders per the request of Regional Sales Managers or customer
- Follow ISO guidelines for establishing and following departmental procedures
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Assist in annual physical inventory

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to communicate with others
- Associate degree or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
- Ability to identify problems and effect solutions independently and in conjunction with others
- Be self motivated and extremely detail oriented
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
nside Sales Rep
Inside Sales Representatives work in either an office environment or a retail setting selling products to customers. They’re often responsible for gaining new leads and converting them into ongoing customers by building lasting connections and relationships with them. When Inside Sales Representatives gain a potential customer, they’ll research them to make customized sales pitches and demonstrate how the consumer would benefit from purchasing their product. Once they make a sale, they’ll maintain a strong, ongoing relationship with that customer to sell additional products to them in the future or to answer any questions they have while using their service.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
