Client is looking for a Network Security Engineer. We're a groundbreaking multi-specialty telehealth platform, revolutionizing healthcare accessibility. With a focus on network security solutions and cloud networking expertise you'll help further hone our dynamic network infrastructure. Your role directly impacts how we connect consumers to licensed healthcare professionals, making better health easily attainable. You should be a forward thinking, innovative individual driven to identify updated tactics to traditional and/or complex problems.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain network architecture emphasizing Palo Alto Networks.
Draft implementation, maintenance, and patching lifecycle documentation for NGFW, SDWAN, Strata Cloud, etc...
Integrate existing network infrastructure with the PANW environment. This may include but not limited to Cisco Client (TrustSec AIOps), SumoLogic, XSOAR, API accounts for automatic configuration execution, etc...
Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation network security infrastructure.
Provide expert level support of any infrastructure pertaining to network security operations.
Build and maintain SOPs, best practices, hardening documentation, and other internal reference documentation.
Build project proposals and implementation strategies for new endeavors within the PANW landscape.
Follow standards and best practices set in place by Security and Network leadership.
Assist with development of Disaster Recovery play books and operational implementation.
Maintain and execute an infrastructure systems backup plan.
Perform technological audits (config and best practices) on the current environment and develop long-term annual auditing procedures.
Proactively evaluate and propose remediation for any future CVE/RCE's published by PANW
Deploy redundant connectivity for SDWAN/Site-to-Site IPSec connectivity.
Maintain site to site connectivity for all IPSec tunnels.
Ability to clearly communicate with any organizational unit.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required).
7 years of network security engineering experience.
Experience with network design, protocols, and network topology.
Expertise with Palo Alto Networks – NGFW, Cloud implementations, BGP, SDWAN, HA, etc...
Experience in technological auditing.
Understanding of network and server security in a healthcare context.
Relevant certifications: PANW PCCSE, PCNSE, PCSAE, etc...
Proficiency in private and public cloud environments.
Expert problem-solving skills.
Scripting and/or automation skills a plus (Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with network architecture designing software (e.g. Visio).
Proficiency participating in a Change Management process.
