Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Deburring Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing and refining machined parts by removing burrs and sharp edges, ensuring components meet quality specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deburring operations on machined parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized deburring equipment.
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure they meet quality and blueprint specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine deburring requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and tools.
- Identify and report defects or issues with parts to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in deburring or a similar role preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and work order tracking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- Flexible assignments based on the current needs of the business, with potential for cross-training in other areas.
- Adaptability to work in different areas of the shop to contribute to production goals.

Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift 20-30 pounds.
- Perform repetitive tasks involving manual dexterity and precision.

Shift:
- 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Mon. - Fri.
Pay:
- $17 - $18 an Hour (Based on Experience)
