Role Overview:
This role will be responsible for analyzing/supporting JD Edwards E1 based solutions. Provide training and technical support to system end-users. Develop test plans and coordinate/perform software testing. Facilitates the integration of technology into business operations with the goal of using technology to improve operations or efficiency. This position specializes in JDE manufacturing module and acts as a lead for that part of the system. The Senior Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing input and assisting in the development and implementation of business initiatives to support company operations and business decision making.
Responsibilities:
Support JD Edwards users as the in-house expert on system functionality related to Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Cost Structure Changes, Demand Planning, MRP, Capacity Planning, Forecasting, Manufacturing Accounting and Inventory.
Proficient in the use of JD Edwards tools to perform data extracts and analysis of data.
Document procedures related to job duties.
Work with Shopfloor users to implement new tools and business processes.
Key team member for implementation of 3rd party solutions that interface with E1 for business process.
Provide functional training to business users.
Fill user requests for JD Edwards native queries, custom grids and watch lists.
Create new program versions to support launch of new business units, and work with users to conduct user acceptance testing on all modifications.
Support SOX compliance reporting requirements and work with internal and external auditors to fill reporting requests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years supporting users in a JD Edwards environment and experience on a JD Edwards implementation team with primary responsibility for the Manufacturing module in E1.
  • Manufacturing environment experience is required
  • JD Edwards Orchestrator Experience a plus.
  • APICS Certification a plus
