Job Title: Sandblaster

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, remove rust, paint, and other surface materials from metal components.
- Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality and compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain and adjust sandblasting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Apply masking or protective coatings to areas of parts that should not be blasted.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper disposal of blasting media.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on sandblasting equipment as needed.
- Assist other team members with general shop tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field preferred
- Ability to operate sandblasting equipment and basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a dusty environment while wearing proper PPE.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ability to work independently
- High school diploma or GED required
