Description:
Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting duties with general knowledge of most areas. This position is responsible for performing general accounting and payroll functions and preparing financial statements.



Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable
  2. Enter all information into Quickbooks
  3. Send invoices and follow up on customers with delinquent payments
  4. Other administrative tasks, i.e. answering phones, filing, etc. as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with bookkeeping
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Communicate, develop and maintain relationships with vendors/customers regarding payment and orders .
  • Match invoices with packing slips and enter in CMS.
  • Check requests for invoices and distribute to the appropriate department.
  • Printing weekly checks for accounts payable
  • Responsible for scheduling weekly payments and negotiating payment with vendors/customers;
  • Responsible for updating Digital Time and Attendance Tracking System as well as editing employee time and submitting payroll.
  • Will ensure all check requests are completed and turned in a timely manner
  • Will also be responsible for compliance, and government reports.
  • Responsible for all functions associated with payroll including but not limited to all relevant functions in preparation of payroll.
  • Along with Human Resources will be responsible for handling all payroll adjustments, shortages, garnishments, annual computation of gross and net pay, vacation pay, etc...
  • Will also be responsible for preparing periodical payroll-related analysis, statements, and projections.
  • All Accounts Receivable/Payable functions including but not limited to processing sales invoices and collections.
  • Communicate with Receiving/Purchasing on items coming in and ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Must possess the ability to perform work accurately and proficiently; congenial; friendly and be able to use diplomacy and tact in dealing with people
