Bid Coordinator
- Review bid invitations, project specifications, and plans to determine project requirements.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for glass materials, labor, and associated costs.
- Compile and submit bid proposals within specified deadlines.
- Work closely with sales, project management, and engineering teams to gather necessary information for bids.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times for materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project requirements and address inquiries.
- Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitor pricing to develop competitive bids.
- Track the status of bids and provide regular updates to management.
- Prepare reports on bid outcomes and feedback to improve future submissions.
- Ensure all bid documentation complies with client requirements and company policies.
- Maintain organized records of all bids, proposals, and related correspondence.
- Previous experience in a bidding, estimating, or project coordination role, MUST be in the glass or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with estimating software or tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of glass products, fabrication processes, and industry standards.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CRM or project management software.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
