What's the Job?
The Fulfillment Specialist receives orders and fulfills the orders quickly and efficiently. You will receive order information, find the right products in the warehouse, and ship out orders to customers with a keen eye to order accuracy and quality.
What You'll Be Doing, Stop Scanning and Read This Part
- Picking, packing, and auditing customized orders for individual customers
- Finished goods handling
- Prep fulfillment materials (boxes and accessories)
- Ability to communicate and understand instructions as it relates to general Fulfillment practices
- Ability to meet or exceed standards in picking, packing and material handling while still achieving accuracy standards set forth my management
- Utilize continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Putting incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
- Picking and packing other orders as direted by management
- Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
- Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to the shipping bins
- Ensuring that all areas of the Fulfillment Center are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris
- Ensure compliance with food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- 1 years work experience in a similar role, preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people
- Proficient when using tools required for this position
- Physically agile and dexterous
- Ability to lift 30lbs or more, consistently and 50lbs with proper assistance/support
- Proficient organizational skills
- Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams
