What's The Job?
We're looking for a blending operator to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence. As a blending operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the blending machines, as well as performing quality control checks on the products. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of production and ensuring that the products are properly labeled and packaged.
What You'll Be Doing, Stop Scanning and Read This Part
- Responsible for the set up, operation, and clean up of blending equipment
- Select and weigh ingredients according to formulas using scoops, spoons, or automatic feeders
- Operate blenders, mixers, agitators, and other machinery to mix ingredients according to formulas
- Start machinery, observe operation, and shut down machinery when specified amount of time has elapsed or when process is completed
- Transfer finished product from blender to barrels
- Clean and maintain work areas, machines, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Upholding batch record integrity, digital inputs and compliance adherence
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; previous blending experience a plus
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific work instructions
