Position: Casting and Pasting Operator
Location: Fremont, OH
Pay Rate: $22.20 to $24.90 an hour based on experience (plus $1.00 shift premium)
Shift: 2nd (2 pm to 11 pm)

What You'll Do:

  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices while operating machinery and equipment in the plant.
  • Efficient Operations: Perform equipment setup and changeovers efficiently to ensure smooth production.
  • Productivity Goals: Maintain consistent productivity levels to meet or exceed minimum requirements.
  • Versatile Tasks: Participate in various manufacturing processes, including loading, sorting, pasting, and loading of cells.
  • Transport and Storage: Safely transport pasted plates from machines to storage racks.
  • Precision Work: Execute the bonding of plate lugs with precision.
  • Quality Control: Remove casted straps while maintaining product integrity.
  • Issue Reporting: Identify and promptly report any product, process, or quality system issues to lead personnel.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to uphold a smooth operational flow.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to utilize hand tools and torches as necessary.
  • Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills to perform required calculations.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit effective communication skills to coordinate tasks within a team environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Utilize prior experience with inspection equipment, gauges, and measuring tools to maintain product quality.
  • Physical Strength: Capable of lifting or moving items weighing up to 75 lbs.

 

What You Need:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in casting or pasting operations.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Screening: Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening.
