Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Ashland, OH
Shift: 1st (Monday through Thursday 6 am to 3:30 pm and Friday 6 am to 10 am. Overtime may be required on Friday until 3:30 pm if needed)
Salary: $20 to $30 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Manufacturing: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders.
- Accuracy Verification: Use various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges to ensure part accuracy.
- Quality Maintenance: Monitor machine operations and to make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Machinist with Milling & Turning experience.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Additional Skills: Experience with MasterCam and the ability to create CNC G-Code programs are a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Screening: Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Screening.
