- Assemble, fabricate and clean parts to subassemblies and complete units.
- Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Read and identify blueprint requirements such as: Epicor receiving/ rejecting parts, Final inspection identify exception and file all documents,
- Epicor verification buy off and stamp hard card, In-Process inspection/ verification all test certs are in hard card, Measure all sealing surfaces and O-ring depth.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Basic Computer Skills. Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
- Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Leeplug installation tools.
- Knowledge of testing and integration. Ability to read wiring schematics.
- Ability to follow blueprints and read instructions.
- Ability to train and certify other assemblers. Able to maintain quality.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing assembly experience. Preferred at least one year within Modern Industries.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to work standing for periods of time.
Special Requirements:
- Specific Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to wear clean room attire for clean room assembly.
