This position is for a CMM Programmer/Engineer who has experience programming Zeiss CMMs and using Calypso software.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.
• Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
• Leads and / or participates on Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations.
• Identifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes.
• Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.
• Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
• Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.
Required Experience:
• Candidate MUST have completed Zeiss Advanced Zeiss Classes/Training (NOT other company training) using Calypso Software.
• Must have 5 years experience in a Machine Shop.
• At least 1 year of experience with developing CMM processes including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
