Job Title: CNC Set-Up/Operator (B Shift)

Summary:
Join our precision manufacturing team as a CNC Set-Up/Operator, where you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality metal components in a dynamic and supportive work environment. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure precision through inspection and adherence to GD&T principles. Shift:

  • 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Thursday

Pay:

  • $20.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating CNC machines for tasks such as turning, milling, and grinding.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide machining operations.
  • Inspecting machined parts using precision measuring instruments, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Assembling machined components as required.
  • Utilizing Master Cam programming software to generate machine code.
  • Applying GD&T principles to ensure accurate part production.
  • Maintaining compliance with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in precision machining and CNC operations.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble components.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming.
  • Experience with Master Cam programming for CNC machines.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to machining operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
