Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Gates, NY
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. This temp-to-perm position offers an opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Your key responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately and safely, with a focus on inventory management and adhering to safety protocols.
Shift:
- Standard Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday)
- $18.00 an Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Shipments: Inspect and document incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Warehouse Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and assist with replenishment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse clean and well-organized for efficient storage and easy access to products.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
- SAP/ERP System Use: Utilize warehouse management systems to track and record inventory.
- Shipping Procedures: Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping procedures is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift Certification: Certification is required, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [insert weight] pounds).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
