Position Overview:
The Documentation and Reporting Specialist will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and standardizing internal documentation and reporting processes for the Human Resources (HR) team. This role is essential to ensure operational continuity and efficiency by documenting workflows, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and process documentation for HR-related activities.
- Document step-by-step workflows for tasks such as launching job requisitions, generating reports, and managing time and attendance processes.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge repository that serves as a reference for the HR team.
- Collaborate with HR team members to understand their roles and document critical processes to ensure sustainability.
- Identify gaps in current documentation and implement solutions to address them.
- Serve as the go-to resource for documentation needs, ensuring that processes are clear and accessible to the team.
- Support HR operations by developing templates and tools to streamline reporting and documentation tasks.
- 5-10 years of experience in documentation, reporting, or a related field, preferably within HR or a corporate environment.
- Strong ability to process and organize information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Availability to work on-site in Warren, NJ required.
- Familiarity with HR processes, including time and attendance tracking, recruitment workflows, and reporting, is a plus.
- Experience in developing documentation "from scratch."
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze and improve existing processes for better efficiency and sustainability.
