Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tax engagements to ensure compliance and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Handle current and deferred tax provisions (ASC 740) and year-end/quarterly estimates for tax planning.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee engagement planning, delegation, and productivity goals.
- Manage engagement economics, including billing and profitability.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members.
- Support the growth and development of the firm’s team.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of public accounting experience, with expertise in corporate and partnership taxation.
- Hands-on tax compliance experience at a Regional or National accounting firm.
- Proficiency in tax provision processes, including software like ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and BNA.
- Active CPA license (required).
- Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
- Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
