Job Title: Maintenance Technician Assistant

Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving production and ancillary equipment. This role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to a safe and well-maintained facility. You'll utilize your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Shift:
- 6:45am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday
Pay:
- $18.00 - $22.00 an hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and ancillary equipment.
- Conduct general upkeep tasks, including housekeeping, landscaping, painting, and carpentry.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues.
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports as required.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating and maintaining a forklift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
