- Maintenance Technician
- Youngstown, OH
- $25-$29/hour based on experience
- 1 st shift 5am-330pm, Monday – Thursday, and OT on Friday as needed
- Contract to Hire opportunity
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on various types of equipment, including CNC machines, presses, and assembly lines.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Work closely with production operators to understand equipment issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Assist in training production staff on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment.
- 2 or more years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
