Position Summary
• The primary function of the Tool Crib Attendant is to procure, record, store repair parts and supplies. Work is performed under the general direction of the MRO Buyer and Tool Crib Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Maintain Item Master and Item attributes.
• Receive parts against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Place received parts in bin locations and perform appropriate ORACLE transaction.
• Verify that parts are being signed out and issued to the appropriate work order.
• Perform cycle counts and record in Oracle.
• Create purchase requisitions
• Perform 6S activities and other projects as requested.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
• High School diploma required. Associates Degree from a two year school or institution preferred.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Computer Proficiency with Excel, Word and ORACLE is desired.
• Perform simple arithmetical computations with speed and accuracy.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• While performing the job duties, the employee is required to use a ladder as well as bending to retrieve or store parts in bin locations.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
• Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
