Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a dependable, professional, and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, reporting directly to our Accounting Manager. In this fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic. Law firm experience is a plus, but not required. This role demands someone who is reliable, responsible, and dedicated to delivering accurate financial processing. Compensation will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Process invoices, payments, and vendor inquiries
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Enter accounting transactions with a high level of accuracy
  • Utilize QuickBooks for Accounts Payable functions (3 to 5 years of experience)
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
  • Provide administrative support as required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with QuickBooks, specifically in Accounts Payable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Previous law firm experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
