Summary of Position
The Key Account Manager's primary responsibilities are to ensure an exceptional experience for assigned clients, and to work with the recruitment team to meet clients' temporary and direct placement staffing needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee account services, building and fostering relationships with client contacts to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Manage internal coordination of staffing service delivery to assigned clients.

Build trust through consistent connection and follow up with clients, learning their culture, interview process, and benefits to serve as an extension of their own HR team.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client's business as well as greater economic market trends, anticipating needs and proactively identifying other ways to offer services.

Create account plans to strategically approach new opportunities to service existing clients and generate referral leads.

Achieve milestone account management metrics progressively through first year and ongoing.

Build supportive and reciprocal relationships with branch recruitment and operation teams to ensure collaborative efforts to meet client expectations.

Actively source, screen and skill market top talent when needed.

Comply with all company safety guidelines and processes, reporting known safety issues, including near misses, accidents and potential concerns, to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Senior level business development and/or client retention experience in staffing preferred. Previous sales or account management experience beneficial or comparable education and experience.

Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of professionals.

Exceptional customer/client service and business ethics skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence, the ability to gain acceptance of ideas, and the ability to build trust.

Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and bend or stand as necessary. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally positions self to move boxes or equipment weighing 25 pounds or less. Frequently communicates with fellow employees, clients, associates, etc. Must be able to perceive objects at a distance and up close.
