INSPECTION TECHNICIAN
Full Time (Periodic Rotating 1st & 2nd Shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Program portable arms/trackers to effectively measure different products.
- Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection.
- Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts.
- Occasional border crossing may be required into Canada. (Must have Passport or be able to obtain a Passport for travel)
- Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results.
- Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in CMM, Romer arm, Leica laser trackers is preferred.
- Knowledge/experience in Polyworks software is a definite asset.
- Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments.
- Ability to read a blue print and GD&T interpretations.
- Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications.
- Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
