We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer to enhance our clients' Business Intelligence team. The role requires the creation, development, and upkeep of Power BI reporting solutions, focused on developing and deploying financial reports and enhancing A&F dashboards. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong Microsoft stack experience, particularly Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL Server databases, Additionally, the candidate's ability to bring in data from cloud sources l;ike Azure will be a significant advantage.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or associated disciplines
- Minimum of three-years' experience in the development and oversight of Power BI solutions.
- Expertise in M language, Power Query, DAX, and SQL Server .
- Strong understanding of integration, visualization and data modeling
- Experience in creating interactive and precise reports and dashboards.
- Ability to conduct data accuracy and quality assurance checks
- Well-versed in Agile methodologies and capable of defining unclear requirements, ensuring an ability to navigate and succeed in the role with minimal oversight.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Power BI infrastructure including Deployment Pipelines, Connections, Service, and Dataflows.
- Well versed in financial reporting principles including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Familiarity with other BI tools or data environments like SSAS, SSIS, and Azure Data Lake.
- A solid understanding of financial products, detailed policy frameworks, and general accounting systems is strongly preferred.
- Certification in Power BI or related platforms.
