As a QC Laboratory Supervisor working onsite in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality control and research settings. In the QC team, you will support a team of technicians in the pursuit of sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. This team member will be a model performer, a facilitator for the technicians, and a driver of strategic initiatives at the laboratory level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute day-to-day allocation of resourcing amongst the QC team
• Identify the requirements for support of cross functional groups
• Facilitate and support RCA activities
• Identify and scope improvement opportunities in the process
• Collaborate with fellow lab leads to scope opportunities amongst different work areas
• Lead daily meetings with technicians
• Acknowledge and facilitate fulfillment of the needs of the technicians, the QC team, and the physical resourcing of the lab.
• Support the achievement of strategic goals
• Understand, support, and maintain Delaware's Quality Management System requirements
• Maintain and complete a personal and team development plan
• Support and provide input on Departmental X matrix action items as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred
• At least 2 years of academic or professional experience in a laboratory setting
• Experience in people leadership preferred
• Ability to work additional overtime as determined by team, business, and project needs
