Job Objectives:

Following company processes, maintain equipment and parts and supplies inventory receipts, picking, packing and shipping. Maintain warehouse in safe and organized manner. Comply with company policies and procedures for daily inspections and audits of facility and delivery trucks. Comply with company policies for the use of company issued technology.


Duties Outlined:

Process, package and ship orders accurately

Complete BOL and UPS Labels as needed

Schedule Carrier LTL pickup as needed

Organize stock and maintain inventory stock locations

Inspect products for defects and damages

Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments

Organize and maintain warehouse space

Keep warehouse and yard storage orderly to use available space to the best advantage.

Handle empty skids, pallets, miscellaneous dunnage and stack/store as required.

Supply store front with necessary materials when required and move miscellaneous scrap materials out of production area to warehouse or yard.

Check, verify and fill customer picks for pickup/delivery

Receive and unload trucks of incoming material.

Follow incoming inspection procedures manual of specific materials to select, examine and record condition in the event of equipment or part discrepancies

Verify and record counts of incoming and outgoing material on operating system and report discrepancies to supervisor.

Sign bills of loading on incoming material and load miscellaneous materials to trucks such as scrap, empty drums, and materials for other plants.

Perform daily product cycle counts as directed by supervisor.

Report shortages of material of any kind and perform bin counts of product daily. Minimum 5 locations.

Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations



What we look for

Required

High School diploma or combination of education and work.

Reliable transportation to and from work

Good organization skills and able to multi-task.

Proven warehouse experience

Must have previous forklift operator experience, as well as be able to operate a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems and inventory management

Team player with organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs or move heavy products


Preferred

Experience with delivery trucks, power forklift, hand trucks, small tools, pallets, inventory management process and computer terminals.

Forklift Certified/ or experience
