Job Title:
Assembly/Die Cutting Technician

Location: Rochester NY

Summary:
Join our dedicated production team as an Assembly/Die Cutting Technician, where you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production line operations. In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring and adjusting production equipment, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your expertise in assembly and die cutting processes will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing goals.

Shift:
· 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday
· Two standard 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch

Pay:
· $15.50 - $16.75 an Hour to Start, with Opportunities for Raises at 6 Months and 1 Year

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
· Prepare production equipment for operation by making setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.
· Complete production logs, calculate production statistics, and track the flow of materials and products.
· Conduct first-piece and line-clearance inspections to ensure quality standards are met, and perform equipment adjustments as needed.
· Help train and prepare colleagues by demonstrating operational procedures.
· Troubleshoot and solve production line issues, adjusting equipment and processes to maintain smooth operations.
· Follow company policies and procedures regarding equipment, materials, and finished goods.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
· Contribute to team efforts by supporting colleagues and completing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
· Experience in manufacturing, particularly in assembly or die cutting processes, is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain manufacturing quality.
· Experience with power tools and tooling is a plus.
· Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to the production process.
· Knowledge of manufacturing methods, equipment, and procedures.
· Familiarity with production reporting and documentation.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
