Job Description
This person is responsible for creating 2 & 3-dimensional technical drawings, parts and assemblies that manufacturing uses to machine/construct components and finished goods. Drawings are created using SolidWorks and or/CADD technology.
The focus of this job centers around producing timely results that are high quality and accurate. Benefiting from an analytical, inquiring, and critical mind, this job requires imagination and strong problem-solving skills, but with a strong technical orientation.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to create parts, assemblies, and drawings.
- Collaborate with Engineers to design parts and assemblies.
- Take a model and convert to a 2-D print for dimensions.

- 3 years of experience using SolidWorks 2017 or higher in a company setting. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, 2D & 3D Design
- Certificate program in CADD technology desirable.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to jump between projects and prioritize according to Engineering requirements.
- Ability to work with various departments including Maintenance (tooling and plant layouts), Shipping (packing configurations and trucking layouts), and Warehouse (Labels).
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, Acrobat Pro, Access, etc..
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions from multiple Engineers.
- Is confident enough to question the way something is achieved.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
The majority of the work shift includes walking and standing on the Plant floor or Office. The employee is frequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
