Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, testing, and improvement of manufacturing systems, focusing on automation, tooling, and material handling.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and procure equipment, materials, and parts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align production schedules and optimize processes.
- Use statistical methods to forecast manufacturing requirements and identify improvements.
- Plan workflow, staffing, and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Design tooling and fixtures using 3D CAD software.
- Conduct employee training and assess performance to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to drive productivity improvements.
- Expertise in process improvement and automation systems.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting tools.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and preventative scheduling.
- Ability to optimize workflow and facility layouts.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
