Job Title: Production Assistant – Blending Department
Position Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our Blending Department. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products by assisting with the accurate weighing, blending, and monitoring of raw materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the blending area, ensuring raw materials are weighed and blended according to specifications.
- Operate and calibrate weighing and blending equipment to maintain efficiency.
- Record batch production details (weights, measures, batch numbers) for traceability.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for blending, ensuring safety and quality.
- Actively listen and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Monitor work area for cleanliness and safety, reporting any issues.
- Identify and report discrepancies in raw material quality or blending consistency.
- Stop production if quality issues arise and inform supervisors immediately.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to allergens, temperature extremes, noise, and potentially uncomfortable conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including a respirator in some cases.
- Work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday (4, 10-hour shifts), with occasional Friday or weekend work. From 5:00am - 3:15pm weekly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to pass random drug screenings.
