Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Pittsford, NY
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Assembly Technician to join our team, specializing in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of mobile devices, tablets, and IoT hardware. In this hands-on role, you will work with small electronic components, interpret technical schematics, and ensure all devices meet strict quality standards.

Shift & Pay:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
- Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Repair:
- Assemble and repair mobile devices, tablets, and IoT devices, ensuring components are properly installed and fully functional.
- Install and replace electronic components such as circuit boards, batteries, connectors, and sensors.
- Troubleshooting & Testing:
- Diagnose and resolve issues such as faulty wiring, connectivity problems, and component failures.
- Perform system updates, firmware installations, and quality control testing.
- Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality.
- Process & Documentation:
- Follow detailed schematics and work instructions to ensure precise assembly.
- Maintain detailed records of assembly work, parts used, and repair times.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly, wiring, or device repair.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with IoT devices, including smart home products, wearables, and connected hardware.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality assembly work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assembly tasks efficiently.
