Project Manager – Graduate Medical Education (GME)
Location: Hybrid (50/50) | On-site: Dallas, TX
Reports to: Division VP, Graduate Medical Education

General Summary:

The GME Education and Research Team is responsible for the development and implementation of GME education and research initiatives. These include knowledge management tools, standardizing educational curricula, implementing connected classrooms, and improving business processes.

The Project Manager will lead various GME service line projects, requiring an understanding of healthcare operations, data standardization, technology development, deployment, and process improvement. This role involves developing, reviewing, and maintaining project plans to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project activities from planning through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, including charters, plans, tools, and methodologies.
  • Manage and baseline project plans, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Create implementation toolkits for enterprise-wide deployment.
  • Prepare agendas, status reports, and task updates for team meetings.
  • Lead core team meetings and facilitate discussions.
  • Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with  departments, divisions, and facility leaders to ensure alignment.
  • Identify and escalate risks and program issues, collaborating with leadership on solutions.
  • Develop knowledge of data standards for quality reporting.
  • Mentor and support team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required to support GME Education and Research initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (Required)

Experience:

  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience in project management.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.

Certifications:

  • Project management certification preferred but not required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent organizational and presentation abilities (including public speaking).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced, high-profile setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Hybrid role: 50% remote, 50% on-site.
  • Extended sitting and computer use required.
  • Some travel or flexibility may be needed for project needs.
