Job Title: Operator
Pay: $16.00 an hour plus a $2 an hour shift premium.
Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 4:30pm – 3:00am, Monday through Friday.
Position Overview:
In the role of Operator, you will be responsible for the precise operation of a small saw, facilitating the cutting of pieces for fabrication, and the application of mixed cement to the final product. We are looking for proficient and committed professionals to join our team.
Essential Skills:
1. Operation of various machine saws with precision, utilizing a tape measure to ensure accurate product cuts.
2. Quality Control. Conduct thorough quality inspections of cut pieces to ensure adherence to our stringent standards.
3. Adaptability to be cross trained in various departments to assist with production flow as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Prior experience in saw operation and manufacturing is required.
2. Demonstrate the capability to read a tape measure down to a 16th of an inch, guaranteeing precise work.
3. Ability to safely handle and lift loads of up to 50 pounds.
4. Proficiency in understanding and implementing written and verbal instructions accurately.
5. Must pass all pre-employment screenings required for the job.
