Lead Supervisor – 2nd Shift
We are seeking an experienced Lead Supervisor to oversee 2nd shift production operations. This role is crucial in maintaining a smooth manufacturing process by managing workflows, optimizing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output.
In a fast-paced production environment, the Lead Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating operations, troubleshooting challenges, and driving continuous improvement while minimizing costs.
Responsibilities:
- Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives.
- Assign tasks, manage workflows, and prepare work schedules.
- Guide, train, and mentor employees while monitoring productivity.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Verify production output to meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and report progress to management.
- Train new employees on proper machinery usage and safety procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Workday and/or ADP is a plus.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- High school diploma required; a degree in engineering or a related field is a plus.
