(85%) Finish instruments, including but not limited to:
- Assemble instruments by means of basic finishing processes such as bending, fitting, grinding, sharpening, deburring, tumbling and basic blending and polishing
- Perform simple measurements using micrometers, angle finders and calipers
- Read and understand blueprints
- Operate deburring and polishing equipment
(5%) Complete and understand documentation needed to comply with S.N.E. policies, Quality Manual and procedures including, but not limited to:
- FDA, QSR and various domestic and international standards and regulations
- Company policies and procedures
(5%) Work in a Team environment using the skills of communicating, listening and participating in developing continuous improvement on products and processes
(3%) Safety, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and company property, including but not limited to
- Simple maintenance as required
- Clean work area as needed
(2%) Preform other related duties as assigned Competencies:
- Must be able to perform basic hand finishing operations such as deburring, filing, bending, grinding, polishing, etc.
- Requires the ability to use calipers and micrometers
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and have basic math skills
