Technical Skills
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and other electronic engineering documentation.
- Advanced soldering and rework skills, including SMT soldering and desoldering of fine-pitch electronic components.
- Experience with PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of RFID, Bluetooth, and Cellular Communication.
- Ability to read and interpret wave lengths on an Oscilloscope and other delicate/sensative electronic equipment.
Testing and Inspection
- Perform advanced inspections of PCB electronic assemblies for defects such as solder quality, parts alignment, and visual damage.
- Test PCBs for failures and perform necessary repairs or rework.
- Prepare procedures and set up equipment for PCB testing.
Software Skills
- Ability to use computer software for recording test data and preparing reports.
- Familiarity with specific software tools used in PCB testing and documentation.
- MES Software (Manex).
Communication and Collaboration
- Work with sales and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.
- Provide support for products in manufacturing areas.
Education and Training
- An associate's degree in electronics or similar training through a technical school or 10 years of experience.
- Certifications in soldering by industry-standard organizations, such as IPC, are considered a plus.
