Job Title: Dock Associate
Location: Rochester, NY

This position involves unloading trucks, staging and labeling incoming equipment, maintaining the dock area, and ensuring efficient organization and movement of equipment. Shift:
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay:
- $17.00 - $18.00 an hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading trucks and accurately stage and label incoming equipment.
- Update receiving logs and communicate incoming equipment details with team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area, including proper storage and staging of equipment.
- Sort and arrange pallets and frames in designated staging areas.
- Separate equipment according to the keep/scrap list and consolidate pallets to optimize warehouse space.
- Relocate equipment within the warehouse using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other teams to support receipt and organization of incoming shipments.
- Follow management directions and provide suggestions for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- General computer skills and familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
- May need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
