Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Henrietta, NY
Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support shop ERP document control and part inspections in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will manage material and finishing certifications, ensure proper document control in an ERP system, and conduct mechanical part inspections using various metrology tools. If you have strong attention to detail, experience interpreting mechanical blueprints (GD&T), and familiarity with shop metrology equipment, we encourage you to apply!

Shift:
- Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
- $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Link material and finishing certificates through an ERP system, tracking from raw material receipt to final product completion.
- Compile certification packages for customer shipments.
- Review customer prints and generate quality inspection plans.
- Conduct first-article, in-process, and final-stage inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, 2D comparators, pin/thread gauges, and CMMs.
- Investigate and determine the root cause of non-conforming or defective products.
- Perform receiving inspections as needed.
- Assist with any additional duties as assigned to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance, or 5 years in a direct manufacturing role.
- Competent in reading mechanical blueprints and applying GD&T standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop, analyze, and present technical information in written and verbal form.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

- 80 hours PTO in Year 1, 120 hours PTO in Year 2
