We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept individual to join our client's team as a Technical Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales combined with technical expertise, enabling them to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize selling experience coupled with technical knowledge to effectively promote our products and services to present and potential new customers.
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately.
- Engage in quote estimating and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate pricing for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the sales process, from initial contact to post-sale support.
- Occasionally travel domestically for client meetings and trade shows, with overnight stays ranging from 1-3 days.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
- Strong technical background with the ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Identify and differentiate between machined parts and stampings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically on occasion for client visits and industry events.
