Job Overview: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to oversee the accurate tracking and reporting of our inventory. The position involves counting boxed rolls of printing labels bi-weekly. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to verify inventory records, and report findings in an efficient manner. No lifting is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory counts 1 day every two weeks for boxes of printing labels
- Product is in 11 different locations inside 1 building
- Accurately note inventory quantities and item numbers.
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
- Verify that the inventory matches the packing slip and what was shipped.
- Ensure that all inventory records are up to date and accurate.
- Identify and report any discrepancies between inventory levels and packing slips.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to use inventory management software (training can be provided).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in inventory management or related roles is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
- This position does not require any lifting
- The role primarily involves paperwork with inventory data entry and reporting.
