Implementation Coordinator
Location: Nashville, TN 37203
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT, Monday – Friday
Travel Requirement: 76% or more
Position Summary:
The Hospital Case Management Implementation Coordinator (IC) will support the integration of hospital case management technology into operations, enhancing patient care, streamlining workflows, and improving efficiency. This role acts as a subject matter expert, ensuring clinical staff have access to and can effectively use the software. The IC will provide workflow and system expertise during implementation and go-live periods, supporting training, troubleshooting, and coordination efforts across multiple HCA facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of software and workflow independently during go-live and implementation.
- Support case management staff, preceptors, and directors in system usage.
- Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate system issues promptly.
- Ensure a standardized approach to training and education.
- Communicate with all stakeholders to align needs, expectations, and requirements.
- Assess and improve implementation strategies based on lessons learned.
- Organize and support onboarding of new team members during implementation.
- Coordinate facility case management staff and go-live support.
- Perform other duties as assigned while adhering to company policies.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of implementation experience (software or healthcare-related).
- Experience with case management technology preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g., Meditech, Cerner, Epic).
- Education:
- Associate Degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications:
- Healthcare-related certification (e.g., LPN, EMT) is helpful but not required.
- Skills & Traits:
- Flexibility to travel to multiple facilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to establish effective collaborative relationships.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable troubleshooting and using case management technology.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and typing.
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Exposure risks: Potential communicable diseases, dust, fumes, and loud noises (rarely).
Work Environment & Travel:
- The role requires 76% or more travel to facilities.
- No direct patient care responsibilities.
